Prayer To End Abortion

LET US PRAY FOR ABORTION TO END AND
LIFT THE COVENANT OF DEATH OVER AMERICA

2 Kings 6:16 -17 So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them."
And Elisha prayed, and said, "LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Mighty heavenly Father we come to you with deep gratitude that you have brought us to this time. We thank You that nothing is impossible to You. You will accomplish your will. No man can stand against You. We know that the countless prayers that have been offered to end legalized abortion will be heard, You have given Your word. Captain of the Lord of Hosts You are leading this battle; open our eyes to see the angelic hosts who are positioned to aid in the fight. Lord forgive us as a people for the practice of abortion in our land.


Use the prayer points that follow to continue to pray that legalized abortion will be ended.

  • Thank God for the opportunity and freedom to pray.


  • Thank God for His promises. That He has heard the countless numbers of prayers to end legalized abortion. Give Him thanks for leading us in prayer, giving us directions.


  • Ask God to open our eyes to see the angelic hosts who are positioned to aid in the process of praying for the end of legalized abortion.


  • Seek forgiveness as a people for the practice of abortion in our land. Acknowledge our sin for the shedding of innocent blood, over 50 million babies who have cried out "Let Us Live".


  • Pray for the hurting mothers and fathers who have aborted a child/ren. That they may experience complete healing and forgiveness. May they encounter God's tender love and embrace.


  • Thank God for empowering the church to rise up in faith.


  • Ask God to infuse us with divine energy to persist in prayer.


  • Praise God for the power of the Blood of Jesus by which we overcome the enemy.


  • Ask that we would see the entrenched wickedness rooted out of our nation's life.


  • Cry out to God for Reformation in our land. May our land be cleansed and visited by the power of God's Spirit and may evil strongholds be thrown down.


  • Cry to God for mercy, believe in His goodness. Ask God to send Revival that, His spirit would rain down upon us.


  • Ask God to go forth like a mighty man and establish His work in our land.


  • Ask God to show himself strong on behalf of all those who trust Him and for justice for the unborn who have lost their voice.


  • Ask God to work His exploits and bring the nation in line with His word.


  • Ask God to strengthen His holy ones and empower those who work to accomplish His purposes.


  • Ask God to go before and smite the enemy and demolish that which has been carefully built against Him'.


  • Ask God to focus our hearts and prayers so that we might see the day when Roe v. Wade is overturned.


  • Ask God to build the Culture of Life in your city, state and nation.


  • Pray this 20 word prayer: "Jesus, I plead Your blood over my sin and the sins of my nation. God, end abortion and send revival to America."
